JIMMY SMITS - "The Debate"

I recently read a Facebook meme depicting a picture of Jimmy Smits with dialogue from an episode entitled “The Debate” from the television show West Wing; the meme claims that liberals were instrumental in: allowing women the right to vote, allowing African Americans the right to vote, ending segregation, and starting the civil rights movement. Since this meme deals with an American television show, let me address truth and American politics. Whatever you wish, you can describe this meme as full of baloney, bullshit; it is fictitious just as the show is fictitious.

Let me be clear: Liberals did not get Africans the right to vote. Democrats continuously blocked Republicans in all matters of civil liberties (voting, segregation, rights of the unborn). Throughout America’s history, Democrats aggressively fought against civil liberty laws, whether they be toward Blacks, Japanese, or the unborn. Refer to U.S. congressional records for proof. John F. Kennedy and Al Gore Sr. voted against civil liberties laws. Democrats decreed and instituted WW II Japanese internment camps. Liberals also seized gold in 1933 and made the currency illegal to own by American citizens. Woodrow Wilson also had a journalist arrested because of an unflattering news article. Since Roe v. Wade, they have aborted over 60 million babies.

The Ku Klux Klan was founded in Pulaski, Tennessee, in 1865, created by

Democrats who wanted to instill fear in the hearts of Southern blacks,

Republicans and Catholics. According to the National Black Republican Association website, “History shows that the Ku Klux Klan was the terrorist arm of the Democrat Party.” Just as the Schutzstaffel (SS) was to the Nazis.

After World War II, the KKK opposed civil rights. The Democrats were solidly against civil rights while the Republicans actively fought for them. John F. Kennedy and Al Gore Sr. were against civil rights. Both voted against the Civil Rights Act.

in 1957. On May 22, 1856, 100 years earlier, Democrat Representative

Preston Brooks struck Charles Sumner of the Liberal Republican Party for Sumner’s denouncement of slavery. A majority of Democrats also voted against the 14th and 15th Amendments, along with the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act, while Republicans continued to favor color-blind policies and voted for those acts. Conservatives are committed to moral justice and freedom from dependency for all.

President Woodrow Wilson (Democrat) was widely known for his racist views.

Prominent members of the Democrat Party were and are members of the KKK: Harry Truman, Robert Byrd, Edward Douglass White, Hugo Black, Theodore G. Bilbo, Bibb Graves, Clifford Walker, John Clinton Porter, Nathan Bedford Forrest and David Duke.[1]

FYI, there was not one Republican who owned slaves in the U.S. Black individuals like Jimi Hendrix and Martin Luther King were registered Republicans.

Segregation was not ended by liberals or Democrats. Leftists blocked it. Democrats created Jim Crow laws. Do you not remember Louisiana governor Jim Davis (Democrat) physically blocking, nearly attacking, Ruby Bridges from attending school?

Many within the women’s suffrage movement also fought for the civil liberties of blacks and allowing them to vote, and stopping segregation. Women suffragists started women’s right to vote (those with conservative values), When women were finally allowed to vote, Republicans controlled both the House and Senate and regained such in the 1918 elections. Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat, was the sitting President.2 Republicans introduced and passed the bill; Wilson was merely a footnote.

Moving on. The Clean Air Act is not entirely true as well. Introduced in 1963, the Clean Air Act was legislation that offered federal research aid, urged the development of state control agencies, and involved the federal government in inter-state pollution issues. The 1965 amendment required the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Services to create and enforce auto emission standards. This was the federal government’s first active role in clean air policy. But it was the Clean Air Act of 1970, under Nixon, that for the first time granted real power to the federal government instead of the states.3

Concerning Medicaid and Medicare, I could argue the benefits and detriments. Frankly, if leftists had no control of the program, it would be cost-effective without death squads. We would not have more bean counters than doctors and nurses.

Liberals of the past do not hold the same values today; or do they? Leftists today are more outspoken about socialism/Marxism than of yesteryear. They now try to convince weak-willed, emotion-filled individuals they are shining knights riding a colorless horse; there is no cause or victim that they will not ride to the rescue and exploit to fulfill the leftist agenda.

So, wear your liberal badge of honor with pride. It proves leftists are not shining knight on a colorless horse but were anti-women, and shameful racists and bigots. Today these groups are drawn together because of the appeal of Marxism.

My statements are easily provable and discussed with evidence in my book, The Naked leftist. Purchase it now to learn and discover the truth. The left continuously promotes the leftist lie to influence the MORON vote.
